| Casa
de Passagem has sought permanent alternatives to
self-sustainability. With the capacity of the local
and national partners they have increased the sales
of Maracatu Fashion Project product, handcrafts
and decorations. The organization has pioneered
in Recife the implementation of solidarity merchandising.Concordantly
with Life Art, Women and Girls House, Altina Ventura
Foundation, Center for Attending to Children with
Cancer (NACC) and with participation of Social Center
Nassau and Tareco and Mariola, Casa de Passagem
realized the Solidary Merchandise were ready for
sale at Aeroporto Internacional Gilberto Freyre,
Shopping Center Recife, Shopping Paço Alfândega,
Shopping Tacaruna, Shopping Plaza Casa Forte, Fenneart
(espaços cedidos e/ou doados). This was the
beginning of Casa de Passagem´s attempt to
extend to local and national commercialization,
while also seeking to elaborate on their business
plan, from which Casa de Passagem would start to
distribute its products to other states and countries.

Casa de Passagem developed more than 80 products, handmade
dolls, shirts, blouses, with the trademark of Maracatu
Fashion. |
